How to build a vocabulary reveal quiz in 5 minutes
This is the fastest way to turn a vocabulary list into something students actually want to answer. No design skills, no export, no printing. Follow the six steps below and you will have a playable link before the bell rings.

1. Pick one photo that illustrates the last word
Choose an image tied to the word you want students to remember most, the one that should stick. A clear, simple photo works better than a busy one, since the masks need visible detail to feel like they are hiding something.
2. Sign in and upload it
Create a free account and upload the photo from the create page. It stays private on our servers; only the parts students have unlocked are ever shown to them.
3. Draw two or three masks
Drag a shape over each area you want to hide. Three masks is the sweet spot for a five-minute warm-up: enough progression to feel like a game, short enough to finish before the lesson moves on.
4. Write one definition per mask
For each mask, set the challenge to a quiz question and type the word’s definition, a synonym, or a fill-in-the-blank sentence as the question. Add a few accepted spellings as answers so a small typo does not block a correct student.
5. Set the tries per day
The default limit is enough for classroom use, three guesses before a mask locks for the day. Raise it if you want a more forgiving warm-up, or lower it if you want the questions to carry more weight.
6. Publish and share the link
Hit publish and copy the link into whatever you already use to reach the class, a shared screen, a chat, a QR code on the board. No login is needed to play, so students can start immediately.
What you get at the end
A dashboard shows who played, how far they got, and which mask took the most attempts, a quick read on which word actually needed the review. Reuse the same photo next term with new definitions, or build a fresh one in the five minutes before your next class.
